Client Advocates

Client advocates provide peer to peer support to our clients. Client advocate must be at least 18 years old and complete our client advocate training.

Community Engagement

Volunteers work to increase community awareness of Life Choices by going to events, organizations, and churches to share information. We need people to share information about Life Choices whenever they encounter someone in need of our services.

Medical Volunteers

Medical volunteers are licensed Registered Nurses. Training is required for volunteers performing limited ultrasounds. We are also looking for Doctors who would like to be a part of our steering committee. Medical volunteers need to have to have a current medical license.

Church Liaisons

Liaisons specifically work with churches to schedule opportunities for the Executive Director to come speak at church services. They seek out opportunities for church missions giving or free will offerings for the center. Liaisons also connect with church ministry groups to organize baby showers or diaper drives.

Mighty Moms Volunteers

On Monday nights we hold a Mighty Moms class where moms learn parenting, financial education, and life skills. Volunteers provide childcare while the moms are in class.

Marketing Volunteers

We need help with developing and executing marketing strategies for Life Choices. We need volunteers to help identify client needs and develop strategies to satisfy those needs. We need help developing marketing strategies for donor engagement, our website, and for social media.

Fundraising Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to contact businesses, donors, and community groups to seek donations on behalf of Life Choices. Volunteers would help with writing thank-you letters and sharing positive stories on social media. Having someone with grant writing experience would be a tremendous asset to Life Choices.

Event Volunteers

Our events include a Gala, open houses, and holiday parties. We could use help with organizing and planning these events including designing and mailing out invitations. Volunteers are needed to help set-up and clean-up the events. We do trash pick-up for the Burlington Jamboree as a fundraiser, so we need volunteers to help with coordinating and feeding volunteers, along with cleaning up trash.

All volunteers need to fill out a volunteer application and have a background check done. Please call or stop in for more information.
